An apology

Sorry P1164246.JPG

I never thought I would walk away from this freaking amazing publication; but I almost did. Though I thought every excuse I came up with were good ones, in the end, I realized the things I needed to address were all internal. In taking on too many projects at one time, I became overwhelmed. Instead of shelving newer projects, I focused my attention on shelving Stepping Stones. I am fortunate, however, to have a staff members that are equal parts friends and coworkers. Through their counsel, I discovered the error of my decision and have worked to get everything running in the right direction. I have cleared my plate of all non-essential projects and am rooted in continuing to make Stepping Stones a home for anyone looking for a supportive community built on a foundation of love for creativity.

Special thanks to Heather, Lisa and Nic. You kept me moving forward despite my kicking and screaming.
