Alyssa found her love for writing in high school, when she was challenged to keep a journal. It became important to her and from there she began to write poetry. She wrote and self published a book of Christian-themed poetry titled Knelt Down. Living in the Poconos with her husband of one year, Alyssa continues to grow in her writing.
